The A31 between Ashley Heath and West Moors will be closed in both directions every night from 10pm till 5am for seven months starting December 2nd.

Through traffic affected by the closures will be diverted using the A338 from Ashley Heath Interchange (down the A338 to Hurn), the B3073 (past the airport), and the A347 (towards Trickett’s Cross); alternatively Wimborne Road East and the B3072 to t. The diversion in operation will vary according to the closure in force.

Access for residents and businesses whose sole access is from, or fronting, the A31 will be maintained by escort as required.

The road will be closed to allow footway improvements, signage, lighting and barrier replacement, parapet and subway improvements, resurfacing, road-marking, stud replacement, and all associated works

During the roadworks, there will be lower speed limits in operation.
