A dog owner is asking for information on her lost Male Bearded Grey/White Collie in the Verwood Forest area.

A search is underway for six-year-old Arran and numerous sightings have been reported, but the dog’s location remains unknown.

Residents have spotted the dog around Ebbake, The Chase and Verwood Road, after he bolted from Alderholt Road near The Bluehaze Cattery on Sunday.

Owner Madeleine Fear has been posting updates on Facebook appealing for any information by phone on 07780686697.

The dog lives in Christchurch and it is thought Arran may try and track his way home.
