Dorset Council is asking for local people to be part of a working group to help introduce a fair charing system for car parks in Verwood.

Working groups are being set up across the county, including in Corfe Mullen & Wimborne Minster, and Blandford Forum, Gillingham & Shaftesbury.

The Council wants to bring in ‘fair’ charges for car parks and on-street parking, aiming to make it easy for Dorset residents to shop locally and to enjoy Dorset’s attractions.

Car Parks in Verwood operated by the Council are currently free of charge for anyone to use.

Working groups will meet virtually periodically throughout the life of the project, starting this month. Please respond as soon as possible but by 8th February 2021.
