Delays expected during the B3081 resurfacing work

Dorset Council is carrying out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works along sections of the B3081 in Verwood from July 9th for around five days.

On July 9th, work will take place between Sutton Hill Camp Site and Remedy Gate.

Work will take place from July 9th to 12th on Ringwood Road, Verwood from the junction with Merryfield Close to the junction with Blackmoor Road with a speed limit of 10mph in force.

On July 12th, work will take place between Lake Road and Ebblake, followed by work on July 13th on the slip-road to the A31 towards Ringwood.

The Council says it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15th July 2021. Parking and waiting will be suspended during the works from 7am till 5pm.

Meanwhile, the three-way traffic signals on the Merryfield Close roundabout for work by South West Water are expected to be cleared by the end of the day on July 5th.
