A fire on cladding attached to the side of The Albion public house in Verwood has been put out by the local fire station crew.
They were called out to reports of a fence on fire on Station Road in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Control said at 3:13am, Verwood crew attended a property on Station Road, Verwood to reports of a fence alight.
“On arrival it was found to be some cladding on the building which was alight. This was extinguished using a hose reel, and crews then also ventilated the building.”
The Albion is now closed until further notice.
