Lidl is opening in Verwood this week and to celebrate the company has a few offers for its first customers.

There are exclusive deals and offers on selected products on the opening day including a 65 Inch UHD Smart TV for £449, a Hot Air Fryer for £29.99 and an ASUS Chromebook Flip Laptop Grey for £149.99.

The new store in Verwood will create around 40 new jobs for the local area and feature a 1,170m2 sales area. It will feature an in-store bakery, customer toilets, electric vehicle charging and parking for both cars and bicycles.

The opening times will be between 8am – 10pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am – 4pm on Sunday, starting Thursday 9th December 2021.

Lidl GB’s Regional Head of Property, James Mitchell, commented: “There has been much anticipation for these new Lidl stores and we are delighted to finally be able to open our doors and welcome local residents. We have received overwhelming support from the local community, and we would like to thank everyone who has played a part in delivering these new stores.

Lidl is also opening its larger store in West Howe on the same day – created by demolishing the old store and the nearby Royal Mail and builders merchants. Plans are also in to demolish the current Lidl in Ferndown and build a bigger store on the same site.
