Verwood Rotary Club has appointed Clive Grove as its new President for 2022-2023.

The formal handover of the chains of office took place this week during the club’s annual President’s Evening at Remedy Oak Golf Club

The evening, marking the start of the new Rotary year, was conducted by Verwood Mayor Simon Gibson.

A post from the club says: “Club members are looking forward to this year under Clive’s leadership, which promises to be good fun as well as busy in the community.

“Clive has also chosen Macmillan Caring Locally as his charity and we look forward to fundraising as much as we can for this.”
