Ringwood Road was closed near Black Hill in Verwood on Wednesday following a single car collision.

The male driver of the car, which collided with a wall, was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment after emergency services including Dorset Police attended.

The road was closed around 1.30pm and re-opened around 3pm.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police told VerwoodToday: “We received a call at 1.20pm of a single vehicle collision in Ringwood Road in Verwood. It was reported a car had collided with a wall.

“Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and the male driver of the vehicle has been taken to hospital for treatment. We do not have a condition update at this time.”

The incident happened between Black Hill and Lidl.
