Police investigate assault on man in his 20s in Alderholt

Police are investigating reports of an assault which took place around 7.30pm on Sunday 5 November 2023 in Hayters Way in Alderholt.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

It is reported that the victim – a man aged in his 20s – was approached by two men and assaulted. The men were both wearing dark clothing and got out of a small grey Peugeot 208 before the incident.

The victim sustained injuries to his face that did not require medical treatment.

Police Constable Ashlea Gale, of East Dorset police, said: “We have now received a full account from the victim and I am carrying out enquiries into this incident.

“I understand there were other people in the area at the time and I would ask anyone who saw what happened and has not already spoken to police to please get in touch.”
