The date has been set for the official opening of Verwood’s first Cheese and Wine Bar.

Renoufs will open in the old Barclay’s Bank building in Verwood centre on Friday October 4th 2019.

The opening date was announced just a few days ago and bookings for the first weekend sold out within 48 hours.

Trevor Ayling, Founder and CEO of Renoufs Wine Bars Group told VerwoodToday.co.uk: After months of structural renovations, we have finally commenced the final phase of our interior design and have revealed the launch date is Friday 4th October.

“Incredibly, our first weekend had sold out within 48 hours of announcing the launch date. But we are here for the long haul, so there will be plenty of time for a cheese and wine fix.

“We are so excited to be a part of the Verwood community and thank all of those who have waited patiently for us to arrive. We look forward to seeing you all very soon!”

Once open, the bar will accommodate around 40 people, with 10 members of staff employed initially.

The company also operates bars in Westbourne, Wimborne, Southbourne and Lyndburst
