Emergency water works close Edmondsham Road in Verwood

Edmondsham Road in Verwood is scheduled to be closed for six days to allow for emergency repairs following a burst water main.

Dorset Council says the road is closed from 9.30am today (Wednesday) till midnight on 15th March 2022 to allow South West Water to fix the issue.

However, whilst the road was closed for a few hours on Wednesday during the day, it is currently open to all vehicles following a confirmation visit by VerwoodToday.

It is meant to be closed around the junction with Eastworth Road and a diversion route includes going via Edmondham and/or Cranborne to reach Alderholt.
