Edwards Estate Agents closes Verwood branch and relocates to Ferndown

The Verwood town centre office of Edwards Estate Agents has closed with staff relocating to Ferndown.

The company says the decision to leave Verwood follows investments made in marketing and technology at its central hub.

Grant Edward Brooks, Managing Director of Edward Estate Agents told VerwoodToday: “We have decided that the move is better suited to the clients that we deal with. It enables us to provide a much sharper and more effective service.

“We are also rebranding our Wimborne office to Fine & Country, which enables us to deal with Exclusive homes and provide global marketing. And we will be acquiring a new lettings business, to grow our portfolio which will be fantastic.”

Edwards arrived in Verwood in 2012, taking an office in the Old Pottery next to Costa Coffee, but moved to its latest base on Ringwood Road when Iseards left town in 2018.

Grant added: “We still have the same team and our high service levels won’t change. Clients can expect the same service, from us; as we now enter our 15th year of trading, we constantly evolve and develop with the changing market conditions.”

Three estate agents remain in Verwood – including Castleman which posted a note on Facebook following the move saying there’s no need for Verwood residents to use agents from outside of the area as they employe four Verwood residents in their shop.

Goadsby and Irving also remain in the town centre serving Verwood.
