Verwood Surplus Store has released a statement confirming the shop is not closing down.

The news comes following the closure of a nearby Surplus Store due to a lack of business.

A post on Facebook reads: “Due to the unfortunate circumstances with trade in Ringwood over the recent months, Ringwood Surplus Store has decided to close its doors and close their business. We wish them all the very best in the future.

“To avoid the confusion that we have been experiencing in recent times, we are a separate business altogether from Ringwood.

“Verwood Surplus Stores is going strong and will remain open as usual, 7 days a week to continue to serve our community as we do.”
