
Dorset & Wilshire Fire and Rescue Service have been attending a fire at The Cafe on The Square in Wimborne.
The property has suffered from fire damage on the ground floor thought to have been caused by an electrical fault.
A Dorset & Wilshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “Crews from Wimborne and Poole were called to The Square, Wimborne at 1.37pm this afternoon.
“The incident involves a fire on the ground floor of a commercial premises – breathing apparatus wearers are currently using hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.”
The situation is now under control and a cordon remains in place.
