Verwood-based choir Vocalize has launched a youth version for 7 to 17 year olds.

A taster session is being held at the Helix Centre on Thursday 25th July between 5pm and 7pm, and anyone interested should register by 20th July 2024.

The group says it is offering the extra choir after six years of success, and due to unprecedented demand.

Steph from Vocalize tells VerwoodToday: “As a Vocalize Youth member, you will learn to sing in a group, bust some moves with epic but simple choreography, get the chance to take lead parts or even solos and to top it all off, perform in your very own shows!

“And the best bit… no prior experience is required, everyone is welcome!”

Rehearsals will take place every Thursday from 5-7pm at The Helix, 17 Moorlands Road, Verwood, Dorset, BH31 7PD. All of the coaches are fully DBS checked and a First Aider is present at every rehearsal.
