Music spanning four decades is heading to Ringwood this spring as Verwood’s Vocalize Choir prepares to stage The Decades Show.
The performance on 21 March 2026 will feature songs from the 1960s through to the 1990s, with music from artists including The Beatles, Dusty Springfield, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner and Robbie Williams.
For the first time, the group will present both a matinee and an evening show on the same day.
The afternoon performance will also include an appearance by Vocalize Youth, giving younger members their largest stage opportunity to date.
Vocalize is based in Verwood and brings together adult and youth choirs performing pop, rock, soul and Motown. Founded in Alderholt by Jamie and Steph, alongside choreographer and vocal coach Mark, the choir has grown to around 50 performers.
Since 2018 the group has staged annual sell-out shows, appeared at local festivals, released five original tracks and reached number two on the iTunes Christmas Download chart.
