A new interactive sculpture has opened at Moors Valley, bringing fresh sounds and experiences to the Play Trail.
Woodland Rhapsody is now welcoming visitors, inviting families to explore and discover different sounds as they move through the installation. The project was supported by Defra funding through the Access for All programme.
The opening comes alongside several other updates across the Play Trail. Rangers have built a large forest shelter near Explorers Cafe, giving visitors a covered space to use in all weather conditions.
An accessible bench has also been installed as part of wider improvements across the park. It includes hard surfacing and space for wheelchairs or prams to sit alongside the table, helping more people enjoy time in the forest.
Meanwhile, Moors Valley’s Easter Hunt is running until 14 April, with families encouraged to follow clues and solve riddles to uncover who laid the golden egg.
Easter craft sessions are also taking place in the Ranger Den on selected dates during the school holidays.
