A community event celebrating Armed Forces Day is set to take place in Verwood this summer, bringing together local traders, crafts and activities for all ages.
The Artisan Food and Craft Fayre will be held at The Swans next to Morrisons on Saturday 27 June from 12pm to 4pm.
Visitors can expect a range of stalls and activities, including artisan food, jewellery and fashion, as well as face painting and craft stands.
Organisers say the event will also feature a focus on wellbeing and relaxation, alongside other attractions still to be announced. The fayre forms part of wider Armed Forces Day celebrations, recognising the contribution of those who serve and have served.
A spokesperson said there will be “so much more” on offer across the afternoon, with the aim of creating a welcoming and varied event for the local community.
The event has been organised by Classy Bird Events.
The pub has also recently shared it will be showing the Grand National on all six TVs this afternoon (Saturday), and Wonky Donkeys will be singing live on Saturday 25th April at 9pm.
