An illustrated talk focusing on birds found in gardens and woodland areas is set to take place in Verwood.
The Verwood and District Horticultural Society will host the event at Verwood Memorial Hall on Monday 12 May at 7.30pm.
The presentation will be led by Keith Partridge, leader of the RSPB New Forest Group, who will share his knowledge of species commonly found in local woodlands and meadows, as well as those that rely on gardens.
Organisers say the talk will highlight the variety of birdlife in the area and offer insight into their habitats and behaviours.
Non-members are also invited to attend.
