Verwood residents have another place to visit for evening food and drinks as The Hub opens its cafe area till 10pm most nights.

The Hub Bar will be serving a new tapas menu along with cocktails, pizza and lightbites.

Pizza takeaway has been available for some time, but this is a new move to encourage more visitors in the evening.

The Hub team promises a nice atmosphere with lights lowered and the music turned on.

Regular events remain including Bingo on the last Tuesday of the month and Karaoke nights with Vocalize – Pop, Rock, Soul and Motown Choir one Friday a month until midnight.

The Hub posted on Facebook: “A great place to hang out with friends in a safe environment!

“No need to book just come on down, have a drink with friends after the gym or fitness class or get yourself a pizza takeaway.”

The opening times are:

0900 – 1800 Monday
0900 – 2200 Tuesday to Friday
0900 – 1600 Saturday and Sunday (event dependent)
