Verwood’s Lake Road Pharmacy will close on Saturday the 24th June ahead of the opening of a new Pharmacy at Bank Court on Monday 26th June at 8am.

Pharmacy owner Pharmland will run the new Bank Court site along with the recently acquired Station Road site together.

A spokesperson told VerwoodToday: “We plan to have a formal opening of the site later in July, but we will be providing some light drinks/ refreshments on the 26th for any customers who’d like to come and see the new premises. We’d be delighted if you can make it too.”

The new collection machine will be being installed next week on Tuesday 20th June and will be available for use from the opening of the new site on the 26th June, bringing 24/7 prescription collection to the town for the first time.

This will be available to patients of both the Lake Road and Station Road sites.

The new site at Bank Court will have four consultation/treatment rooms, larger shop and counter area and large dispensary. In time, the first floor will have more treatment rooms, services and/or meeting spaces.
