Verwood teenager creates own streetwear clothing brand

A 15-year-old from Verwood has launched his own streetwear clothing brand and is hoping to inspire others by sharing his journey.

Teenage entrepreneur Ryan Heckford recently started selling clothes under his new brand, Chrome Clothing, and has so far generated over £200 in sales.

Ryan, a self-taught designer, says he faced many challenges growing up and struggled academically in school, but didn’t let the obstacles define him. Instead, he focussed his energy into something he enjoys – fashion.

Ryan told VerwoodToday: “With unwavering determination, I embarked on the journey of creating a streetwear brand that reflects my individuality and style.

“Chrome Clothing is the result of countless hours of hard work and dedication. As a self-taught designer, I have poured my heart and soul into crafting each piece. Every tee from our brand has been meticulously handmade to ensure the highest quality and attention to detail.

“I take great pride in the uniqueness and authenticity of my designs. I am thrilled to inform you that we recently had our first successful drop this past Saturday.”

Ryan says the response from his new business venture has been overwhelming, which has motivated him to take his brand to greater heights and share my story with a wider audience.

He adds: “Chrome Clothing is more than just a clothing brand; it represents resilience, passion, and the belief that dreams can be turned into reality, regardless of age or circumstances.

“I hope to inspire other young individuals who may be facing similar challenges, encouraging them to pursue their passions and embrace their creativity.”
