Fordingbridge business creates exhibition space for international company in Vegas

Be Exhibitions in Fordingbridge has created a large stand for its client what3words at the CES show in Las Vegas.

Ellen Stokes, who founded the company, also works across Europe for numerous large clients from its local HQ on the Dorset/Hampshire border.

She said: “It was a great achievement when what3words contacted me to help them with the exhibition. It is a huge event in Vegas where the biggest names in the world exhibit, so it’s hugely important to be noticed.

“It’s also crucial to have a stand that properly reflects the client’s business in the right way. In order to do that you have to almost become your client – which is where the name ‘Be Exhibitions’ came from.

“The design, technology and audio-visual aspects of a stand are the difference between generating leads or failing. Outlay at these events is vast, so it really is important to get it right and with lots of repeat clients I am proving my company’s value.

“Success in Vegas is as big as it gets and for a small business in Fordingbridge it is quite a feat to have played a large part in that.

“We also have an ethical side with sustainability being important and we recycle everything we can, as well as planting trees. I had worked in the industry before setting up the company seven years ago – and Covid aside it has been extremely successful.”

Giles Rhys Jones, CMO at what3words, said: “Be Exhibitions ensured the what3words booth really came to life at CES this year. The setup enabled a truly immersive experience, and there was something to do or look at everywhere you turned, capturing the attention of everyone, from passers-by to key clients and stakeholders.

“Complete with self-serve demos, an ecosystem wall, meeting rooms, vibrant signs, lighting and colour schemes – everyone could experience our technology exactly how they should, in an exciting and human way.

“Thanks to Ellen and her team, everything was underpinned by our shared commitment to sourcing sustainably, and we’re looking forward to working with her again for 2025.”
