An internationally touring country music tribute production is heading to The Verwood Hub.
Country Superstars, described as the world’s biggest country music tribute touring show, will bring a cast of performers and a live band to the Dorset venue. The show is hosted by Sarah Jayne in the role of Dolly Parton and features 12 tribute performances backed by the Country Superstars Band.
Promoters say the production has previously appeared at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End and has been honoured at the Grand Ole Opry and on Nashville’s Broadway.
The show includes live vocals, replica costumes and video backdrops, along with a pre-recorded voice-over message from Dolly Parton.
Audiences can expect to hear well-known country hits including 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream, The Gambler, Ring of Fire, Country Roads, Always on My Mind, Man! I Feel Like a Woman and Beautiful Crazy.
