A return to the stage where it began is already drawing strong demand, with tickets selling quickly for Martin Gardiner’s one-off show in Verwood this summer.
The performance will take place at The Verwood Hub on 6 June at 2pm, with no additional dates planned.
Several people have already said they intend to book, and organisers are encouraging early purchases as there is only one opportunity to see the show locally.
Gardiner has been performing in Blackpool this week, where he has received positive reviews. He told supporters he is looking forward to seeing “some familiar faces in the audience” when he returns.
He said it felt right to bring the production back to Verwood, adding that it was through Verwood Panto that he began working professionally. He also thanked The Verwood Hub, Emmanuel and Potterne Park for hosting the event.
