A quiz night organised by young people is set to take place at Verwood Youth Centre this spring, raising funds for trips and activities for local young people.
The event will be held on Friday 10 April at 7pm and is being organised by members of the youth centre for parents, family members and friends connected with the centre.
Teams of up to five people will compete in a quiz designed to test general knowledge and encourage friendly competition. The evening will also include a cake sale during the break, with tea and coffee available.
Verwood Youth Centre says the night is being run by young people themselves as a way to raise funds that will help provide new experiences, trips and activities for those who attend the centre.
Organisers say the event also offers an opportunity for the community to come together and support the work taking place with young people in Verwood.
Places are limited, with space for ten teams taking part on the night.
