Fans of the classic BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses have reacted with shock after the grave of actor Buster Merryfield had fallen into disrepair.
Merryfield, best known for playing the war-storytelling character Uncle Albert, died in 1999 at the age of 78.
He is buried alongside his wife Iris in Verwood Cemetery.
Reports say the grave was defaced by vandals, but further investigation shows the gravestone may have just fallen into disrepair.
A statement from the family has since confirmed the site was not vandalised.
