The B3081 Verwood Road towards Ringwood is blocked both ways due to a collision this afternoon, between the A31 and Alderholt Road at Baker’s Hanging.
The incident was first reported around 3.40pm and traffic is either standing or turning around to avoid the wait.
Emergency services are currently on the scene.
6.15pm update: The road has now reopened but congestion remains on surrounding routes.
