Verwood’s Vocalize Choir is set to appear on the opening night of The Choir of Man when the West End production arrives at Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre this autumn.
The choir said it will take part in a special performance on Tuesday 3 November, helping welcome the show to the city as its Southampton run begins. The production is scheduled at the venue from 3 to 7 November 2026.
In its announcement, Vocalize Choir said it was “really looking forward” to being part of the opening night.
The group described the occasion as a chance to be involved in a “special atmosphere” as the show opens in Southampton.
According to the Mayflower Theatre listing, The Choir of Man is on its first UK tour direct from the West End. The production is set in a pub and combines live music, singing and storytelling, with performances running across the week.
