Diyet brings northern roots to Cranborne

Diyet and The Love Soldiers will bring a mix of alternative country, folk, roots and traditional music to Cranborne Cecil Memorial Hall next month.

The trio will perform on Friday 15 May 2026 at 7.30pm, with a 90-minute show plus interval.

Diyet, from Canada’s Yukon Territory, sings in English and traditional Southern Tutchone, with songs shaped by her Indigenous world view and life in the north.

She is joined by Robert van Lieshout on acoustic guitar, drums and percussion, and Bob Hamilton on electric guitar, pedal steel and mandolin.

The performance is expected to include music exploring landscape, community, history, hope and reconciliation.
