Former ELO 2 musician Phil Bates will reflect on nearly 60 years in music when he performs at Verwood Hub.
His Up Close and Personal show will begin at 7.30pm on Friday 16 October and will run for 75 minutes.
Bates is preparing to end his musical career at the close of 2026 following decades of performances, including appearances around the world with ELO 2.
The Verwood concert will feature songs from his five solo albums alongside material associated with other periods of his career.
Audiences can also expect Beatles songs following Bates’s time with the Eleanor Rigby Experience, which reworked music by John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. The programme will also include compositions written by Jeff Lynne for ELO.
The event forms part of Dorset Council’s programme at Verwood Hub.
