Cancer patients at Southampton General Hospital could receive care packs this Christmas as a nurse launches another appeal following the success of last year’s collection.
Leanne, who is also a Tropic skincare ambassador and lives in Verwood, organised the appeal last Christmas and delivered more than 40 care packs with support from local people.
She’s now hoping to exceed that total and is inviting people to sponsor packs containing Tropic skincare products selected with sensitive skin in mind.
Leanne said she wanted to provide “a little moment of comfort, self-care and kindness” to people undergoing cancer treatment, particularly during Christmas.
Each donor can also include a personal message for the patient receiving their pack.
Leanne will donate her commission from Tropic towards the appeal, as she did last year.
She hopes the community will once again support the initiative and help bring some comfort to patients during their treatment.
