What’s happening at the Rustic Fayre in Verwood

The Verwood Rotary Rustic Fayre is back for 2021 after taking a break in 2020 due to the coronavirus.

The event starts at 12pm on Bank Holiday Monday 30th August, and the cost is £5 per adult to enter. Accompanied children are free, along with car parking.

Most of the features previously seen at the event will be happening, with the exception of a car boot sale.

Chairman of the Rotary Rusty Vern says: “There’s a full Arena; Music, Classic Vehicles; and Food & Drink option Also, weather permitting we’ll be graced by a “Battle of Britain Memorial Flight” Spitfre flypast.

“But it’s your presence on the day that will mean more than ever to all the groups and charities whose funding has dried up since Rustic 2019. So do come along and, If you think you could support us in some other way, advertising or perhaps sponsoring an element, I’d love to hear from you.”

There’s also a BBQ, beer tent, Scout Camp, corporate duck race, an egg catching competition, and Forest FM broadcasting live. The Spitfire flypast is planned for 2.15pm.
