Most of Verwood now has access to Full Fibre broadband but thousands are still on a slow connection, the company reports.
Openreach says its upgraded network can now serve 6,400 local homes and businesses, covering more than 80 per cent of properties in Verwood.
However, customers are not moved to the new service automatically. Anyone wishing to upgrade must check availability and place an order through their chosen broadband provider.
Kieran Wines, Openreach Partnership Director for London and the South East, said: “Most of Verwood is now covered by Full Fibre, but many residents and businesses still haven’t made the switch.”
