Pokémon cards worth £10,000 stolen in raid

Pokémon cards worth approximately £10,000 have been stolen during a series of burglaries in West Moors.

Dorset Police are investigating four incidents involving homes in Oakhurst Road and Pinehurst Road between 30 September and 11 October, with jewellery, watches, cash and a safe among the items taken while residents were away from their
properties.

The first reported incident happened overnight on 4 October in Oakhurst Road, where entry was gained through a back door but nothing was stolen, followed by a burglary in Pinehurst Road on 6 October when jewellery was taken.

Another Pinehurst Road property was burgled between 3 and 10 October, with jewellery, watches and cash stolen, while a further burglary reported on 11 October involved the theft of a safe, purse, cash and Pokémon cards.

Police Constable Anya Parvin, from Dorset CID, said officers were continuing to investigate and wanted information from anyone who had witnessed “suspicious activity” or had been offered the stolen Pokémon cards.

Officers are also seeking relevant dashcam, doorbell camera or home CCTV footage, while enquiries continue to establish whether the incidents are linked.

Anyone with information can contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting occurrence number 55260160703, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
