The introduction of car parking charges at three sites in Verwood has been delayed.

Charges were advertised to start on March 28th, pending the installation of machines at The Hub, Jenner Close (Verwood Surgery) and Potters Wheel (Town Centre).

Verwood is the only place to be listed as “TBC” on Dorset Council’s website regarding the date charging will commence.

Other areas range from March 28th to April 6th.

When the charging machines are installed, the prices will be as follows:

50p – 30 minutes
70p – 60 minutes
£1 – two hours
£1.50 – three hours
£2.50 – four hours
£4 – 10 hours

The machines will take cash and also work with the “Just Park” app.
