Main Verwood to Ringwood road closed daytime for up to five days

The B3081 Verwood Road will be closed to all vehicles on Friday, May 13th between 9.30am and 3.30pm and for up to four days the week after, Dorset Council has warned.

The road is being closed for carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works north of the Alderholt turning towards Verwood for 115 metres.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place.

It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19th May 2022 and will work will not take place over the weekend.

Dorset Council says: “These sites will form part a rolling programme that is weather dependent and liable to change. The works are likely to affect the carriageway for between 1 and 2 days with in these dates.”

There are also temporary traffic lights in Ashley Heath from May 12th to May 16th along Ringwood Road, with delays expected outside the Three Legged Cross pub.
