A 53-year-old woman from Ringwood has been arrested on suspicion of a driving offence following a road traffic collision on Tuesday evening.
The multiple-vehicle crash closed Verwood Road between the Alderholt junction and the A31 sliproad for around an hour.
Horton Road at Ashley Heath was also affected with the B3081 slip road heavily congested too.
The incident happened around 5pm and was attended by multiple emergency service vehicles.
Dorset Police responded to VerwoodToday for information and said: “We received a report at 5.19pm on Tuesday 6 September 2022 of a three vehicle collision on the B3081 Verwood Road between Verwood and Ringwood.
“Officers attended, along with the ambulance service. There were no reports of any serious injuries. The road was cleared and officers left the scene at around 6pm.
“We can also confirm a 53-year-old woman from Ringwood was arrested at the scene on suspicion of a driving offence. She has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.”
