Three football pitches at Potterne Park have suffered considerable damage over the weekend leading to the cancellation of youth games on Sunday morning.

Dorset Police is now appealing for anyone with any information on the criminal activity to come forward

Damage includes deep divots on over half of the pitch and considerable damage to the grass covering.

Photos show tyre tracks around the field possibly caused by quad bikes.

Verwood FC’s ground was unaffected by the incident.
