Verwood to Three Legged Cross road to be closed for 11 days in April

Multiple road closures and temporary traffic lights are heading to the Verwood area in the next few weeks – here are just some of them.

Currently, there are two sets of roadworks on the B3072 between Three Legged Cross and West Moors, including one after the sharp bend at Newman’s Lane.

They will both clear on Monday 10th April.

The B3072 between Potterne Park and Three Legged Cross will be fully closed to vehicles from April 17th at 9am to April 28th at 5pm.

Moorlands Road in Verwood will be closed to vehicles in both directions due to work by SGN from 17th April till the 9th May.

Edmondsham Road Verwood towards the Heavy Horse Centre will be closed between 23rd May and 6th June 2023. The road will be closed daily between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 but it will be open overnight and at weekends.

In addition, the B3072 Home Farm Road in Verwood between Fire Station Roundabout and St Michaels Roundabout will be closed overnight from 8pm on 12 May until 5am on 13 May.

Roadworks

B3072 Verwood Road in Three Legged Cross will have temporary traffic lights in both directions due to roadworks outside Stanmore on April 11th.

B3081 From Romford Bridge To Sutton Hill Camp Site will have stop/go boards on April 11th to fix potholes.

Coronation Close in Verwood will have temporary traffic lights in both directions due to roadworks by SGN from 24th April till 16th May.

Edmondsham Road in Verwood will have temporary traffic lights in both directions due to roadworks near Park Drive from 8th May till 30th May.

B3072 Station Road at West Moors will have temporary traffic lights from 11th April to the 14th.

And further afield, Hurn Lane in Ringwood will be closed in both directions due to resurfacing work from the A31 to Avon Park Road from 25th May to 1st June, and the A338 Spur Road, St Leonards & St Ives (southbound) from Ashley Heath Roundabout for approximately 6000 metres to the south – nightly 8pm to 5am from 10 May until 12 May.
