An Air Ambulance landed at The Fuzzy Bit in Verwood on Saturday morning around 1am in response to an incident on Manor Road.

Multiple Police cars and ambulances attended, closing Manor Road to vehicles whilst investigation work took place.

Dorset Police say a single vehicle collision took place in Manor Gardens in Verwood involving a moped that had collided with a tree.

The rider and pillion passenger were both taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life changing or life threatening.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
