Stalls are back in place every week as Verwood’s Friday Morning Craft and Market Fair returns to the Memorial Hall for the start of a new season.
The event runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm, bringing together local makers and small businesses offering a range of handmade goods and one-off items. Organisers say it is a chance to browse and support traders in a relaxed, community setting.
Maria’s Kitchen will be open throughout the morning, serving bacon sandwiches, homemade bakes and hot drinks for visitors.
There is also a change behind the scenes, with Carol taking on the role of organiser. She is described as “incredibly creative” and inspired by resin work, and will be the main contact for anyone interested in booking a table.
The fair is held at Verwood Memorial Hall and aims to provide a welcoming space for residents to meet, shop and connect.
After the initial event on Friday 20th February, orgnaisers said: “It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces returning, along with lots of new visitors discovering us for the first time.
“The atmosphere was buzzing all morning and it was wonderful to see the hall so busy again. There was a real community feel throughout, with everyone enjoying the fantastic range of stalls.”
