Gas works on Verwood Road have been postponed until later this year after concerns over A338 traffic disruption, but SGN says the pipe needs replacing due to leakage, with risk of emergency escapes remaining.
Newtown Road to close for resurfacing
Newtown Road in Verwood will close between 9am and 4pm on 27 January for carriageway resurfacing. Parking and waiting will be suspended, with fines of up to £1,000 for breaches.
