A Wimborne tea room could be converted into a brewery and shop.

The conversion of the vacant unit, at the Stone Lane Industrial Estate, if approved, would also allow for the sale of brewery products from the site.

The unit, No 1, has previously been used for the sale of second-hand furniture and collectables, combined with a tea room.

A planning application to Dorset Council says the business is asking for the same opening hours as the nearby Eight Arch Brewing Company, from 8am to 0030 Monday to Sunday, alcohol sales until midnight over the same days.

The application, which is open for public comment until March 23rd, has been made in the name of Harry J Palmer Holdings Ltd, a local building company.
